bad layout of websites

I"m frequently getting bad layouts of various websites. I have attached an image. It happens alot lately. One website, the Post, told me to enable javascript which i don't think is the solution. why would that be relevant out of the blue?When i refresh it ususally comes up as it should.What is causing this and how do i fix it? I've inserted an example. i think it's from Amazon. It happened with xcinity and the Washington Post today.it's not a system failure but i don't see a correct categoryi'm on a newly installed Chrome running fine.thanks
