Background slideshow stopped and is no longer available in 'Personalise'

I have a fresh-install W11 (late i5 CPU, AMD Rad HD5800 series graphics card). On the whole it's working fine; I have run /scannow in Powershell and no issues are thrown up. However, whilst for the first few days my Background Slideshow worked just fine (as it had under W10 with an older CPU+graphics card) it suddenly stopped and all I got was my plain black wallpaper. If I go into Personalise Display and try to select Slideshow it immediately reverts to Picture. Now, this occurred (as I recall) at the point I moved the images folder (PNG and JPG only) I was using from camera roll to the deskt
