Automatic Repair - Your PC did not start correctly

I opened my computer this morning and it said "automatic repair - your PC did not start correctly" and now I can't use my computer at all whatsoever. I tried troubleshooting but do not remember what my recovery key is and do not have access to it as far as I am aware.
