Authenticator App is driving me insane.

I'm in Dublin Ireland. The authenticator App is driving me insane. So I call technical support. After 2 attempts going through I automated menus, I get put through to support only for the line to go dead both times. So I call Microsoft reception and get put through to technical support only to be put on hold listening to the awful music on repeat for over an hour. And then, the line goes dead!! You've got to be kidding if this is the best customer service on offer.
