audio problems with new install of Windows 11 Pro 24H2 onto HP ProBook 440 G10 Notebook PC

My mic had worked with windows 10 but now it does not after new install of Windows 11 Pro 24H2 into HP ProBook 440 G10 Notebook PC.I wiped all old files and have started again with a clean slate.The Windows 11 Pro could not see the built-in Mic. Then, audio drivers were installed and reinstalled, using HP provided drivers.I have also run the HPSupportSolutionsFramework-13.0.1.131 and that also installed drivers it discovered that I needed.Now the mic appears but it is not a simple mic icon expected. I have enabled it but when testing it, it shows only 8% sound. The reason for this need is for
