Audio and Mic stopped working on Asus Duo

Hi, Audio and Mic has stopped working on Asus Duo. Issue:When I switch on laptop audio works initially. You can hear the "chime" as windows start and you can play audio on Media player. However as soon as I start a brower e.g Chrome or Edge - audio suddenly stops. If you try play anything on Media player, you get the error message 0x8889000F. I have updated driver and have installed latest windows update. Please help!
