atk driver not working for asus

I have a asus laptop q304ua and the "precision touchpad" only suggests it has windows 10 drivers and i would like to use windows 8 or 7 and the drivers WONT WORK. the mouse will not work upon first boot, after a restart it works fine.

how can I get it working on first boot
