ASUS Windows 11 crashes when connected to external monitor

My ASUS laptop crashes when I am connected to an external monitor and running graphic heavy programs like Unreal Editor. Sometimes it crashes when I am just browsing the web. It never crashes when not connected to the external monitor. ASUS Vivobook, Windows 11 connected to TCL TV/Monitor. The event log gives an error ID of 41. Kernel = Power. I've tried setting monitor to different resolutions and I have updated all drivers. So the external monitor goes blue and says "No Signal". Then I open the laptop and I can tell it is still running but the laptop screen is black and I can't get it back
