Asus Vivobook s 15/16 Oled windows 11 update has caused speakers to stop working

Long story short, after an update, my speakers didn't work. At first, I thought the drivers hadn't updated. They hadn't, so I updated them, they worked for five minutes then stopped. I've checked the drivers for more updates, gone back to an update and tried many other things- no sound. I'm not sure what exactly it is but it seems this newest update rejects realtek speakers. And what's worse is I can't seem to get help through my laptops trouble shooting . I'm honestly thinking of doing a factory reset.Any ideas .
