I just bought a new laptop (Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 5 16" FHD Laptop, Intel Core 7-150U), and I have a monitor that has connected with my older computer, which had worse graphics. The new computer, connected by the same HDMI cord, doesn't offer me the proper resolution. The maximum resolution it offers is 1920x1080. My older computer offers the crisper 2560x1440 option. I've tried installing the monitor's drivers, and updating any graphics drivers, but the problem remains.
