Aptio setup utility copyright 2022 stuck on screen won't go away on my Gateway laptop model GENC21524-BL

Using library WiFi yesterday, 2/1/2025, screen froze, attempted to unfreeze screen, the aptio screen popped up and won't go away. I set up an administrator password. Not sure if it was a requirement. Will it affect the ability to get rid of the aptio screen?
