Apps installed from the Microsoft Store not showing in Notifications in Windows 10 - Software is running in background

My notifications are not showing software that I installed from the Microsoft Store eg BBC News etc. They are all running in the background. I tried everything I can find on the web but nothing works. I had to do a fresh install of Windows 10 a few weeks ago & since then it's stopped working. It was working fine before then.My laptops spec isn't powerful enough to run Windows 11. Please help it's so annoying not being able to get my notifications that I want. Many thanks for any help. All replies will be gratefully received if it helps me to solve it.
