Apps are broken? After a windows update.

This happened after a windows 11 update I believe I just remember it was a newest system/windows required update a month or two ago. After I installed this update no apps would open. The only things I can open are the start menu, task manager, and microsoft edge. But if I look something up on microsoft edge it never loads. I can look up stuff on the start menu but again nothing loads and I can't open any apps from this menu. I gave up and left it alone for a while after I couldn't fix it until I decided to try again now. It's the exact same as before but I can open the file explorer applicatio
