I will try to make this short: I am having an issue with COD modern warfare. I play for like 2-5 minutes and then both my monitor screens go black. When the second monitor comes back up, the video on youtube or wherever is green (restart the tab and it's fine). Sometimes I can hear the audio and shoot a gun in-game, with the screen black. Only error pop-ups have been Dev error 6070 and 0x887A0007- DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_RESET. Others have found that they are having issues with Windows 10 1909 (with other apps). I have a friend who is on 1809 and everything works fine. Another friend is on 1903 and that works fine as well.
Around 2 hours ago, I decided to re-install the game, hoping there would be a change ( some games are coded lazy, where all the game files must be in one place and aren't recognized in separate folders. I thought that was the case with this game). That did not help, so I am on to un-installing 1909. I am not experienced with un-installing versions of updates and I don't know which mini-updates (under quality updates, etc).
I have re-installed my drivers, done GPU stress tests (passing with flying colors), checked in event viewer (the error seems like it leans towards a driver issue), made sure my Ram and CPU are running smoothly (which they are), and some other little things that haven't worked ( I may be forgetting other things I have done to figure out what the problem is).
**Update since writing this: I clicked on Spotify and everything on my screen became laggy. The video I was watching stopped playing and then a black screen appeared. The black screen went in and out so, I quickly got my cursor over to the "x" on Spotify and closed the application. Once I did that, the video played again. So, this seems to be a problem that either is just affecting Spotify and my particular game (I have also heard Netflix is having this issue for people), or it is with windows 1909/ my drivers.
