Apple Thunderbolt 3 to 2 adapter not working

Now i have a Blackmagic Design Mini Recorder I need to use. And It only turns on on Old 2015-2017 MacBook devices, it used to work on my windows until i plugged it into my mac once and it did not work later. It is thunderbolt 2, so I got an adapter for it. And a 2m thunderbolt cable. I looked into the device manager and it gave me thisevice settings for USB\VID_05AC&PID_1657\DTN741300NSH2YFB6 were migrated from previous OS installation.
