App can't launch in Windows 11

Upgraded just yesterday to windows 11, went ahead and cleaned up my disk so I could change the partition format to GPT and after I went ahead and started downloading the games and apps I had before. Now everything was fine and dandy, but one app, namely Hoyoplay (MIhoyo's game launcher), just couldn't be properly launched. After I click on it, it shows up briefly on task manager for like a couple of seconds and then nothing it's gone. Event viewer also shows up an error whenever I try to launch it. Tried most of the things I could find online but nothing seems to have helped.
