I know this is not on topic for this group, but I don't know where to go for

help. The client's network guy ( a out of town contractor ) says he can't

recall how to install the Trend Micro Client Server Security Agent. I have

two new machines being held up from service because I won't put them online

without it. He gave me instructions a while ago which was an html page on

the server, but I can't recall the address and neither can he. I did an

online search and got some info about a remote installation, but don't know

how to access that app or an administration program for Trend Micro.

Thanks for any help and God Bless,

I was just on that page. It seems that I need to open a program called

"Security Server", but don't know how.

When I did it, I opened an internal html page, which led me to an install

program. One of the links you gave me shows the syntax to do that , but I

don't know the port number. If I could identify that page, I would be home

free.

Contact Trend Micro Support.

PS: Your client needs a new "network guy" and you need to find

better-informed clients (else your clients will end up blaming you for stuff

over which you have no control).

I spent hours trying to figure this out, trying to decipher the various

methods that Trend Micro presented. I finally figured out a simply method,

so simple that I wonder they could trash all of their complicated methods

for this:

Open Windows Explorer on the target machine and enter

\\ServerName\ofcscan\autopcc.exe

Where ServerName is the network server where OfficeScan resides.
