I'm trying to change the user name folder in Windows, and I've run into a bit of a snag. Here's what I've done so far:1. Checked Current User Folder: In the Command Prompt, I determined that my current user folder is named "Sam".2. Attempted Rename: I tried to rename it to "User" in the Registry Editor under ProfileList. However, when I do so, I end up losing data, and the system creates a temporary profile (TEMP).Is there a way without losing data or ending up with a TEMP profile. Has anyone done this successfully? What do I need to do?***** moved from german to english Community *****
