Any help with troubleshooting a frequent crash I'm having?

For the past 2 weeks I've been my PC has been freezing while playing Sea of Thieves (no instances of any other games causing the PC to crash). First the game freezes, without being able to open Task Manager or do anything such things. I am able to move the mouse for around 10-20 seconds afterwards until the entire PC freezes but the audio continues in the background. The PC does not normally reboot automatically, and I have to force a power off. This issue seems to have developed out of nowhere as I have not changed anything myself.I have tried reinstalling the game, uninstalling drivers clean
