Any HEIC format support changes in 2023-11 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5032190) or KB5030509?

When copying files from my iPhone running iOS 17.1.1 to my Windows 11 Pro Surface Pro they used to be copied as JPEG files until yesterday. The only updates that were installed on Windows yesterday arei) "2023-11 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5032190)" ii) Windows Configuration Update (KB5030509)On my iPhone, all photos since 2018 show as being in HEIC format. So did Windows silently convert HEIC files to JPEG before these (KB5032190 or KB5030509) updates and has now stopped doing that?
