Any fix for WiFi connecting even though wifi is configured NOT to connect automatically?

Is there and "elegant" fix for wifi networks being set to NOT automatically connect, but they do anyway? It's a pain and the only explanation I've heard is multiple profiles affecting one another, corrupted network settings and stuff like that and they all suggest resetting everything, which is pain when you travel a lot and have many wifi networks set up on a system.Is there another way besides resetting the entire network system on Win 11? It seems that Microsoft is mute on the subject, but it exists. If it's net settings corruption or multiple profiles (leaking?) affecting other profi
