Annoying redundant notifications for Phone Link popping up when I close my laptop lid and open it

I use Windows 11 23H2 on my laptop with Phone Link version 1.24112.110.0. I had the notifications enabled on this app when I was trying to close the lid of my computer. The notifications bar contained notifications from an iPhone synced into Phone Link and popped up when I opened the lid and logged in. When I close and open the laptop, it keeps popping up, with the notification time being updated. It was annoying. Is there a fix?
