Yesterday, I upgraded my laptop storage from 512GB SSD (1 slot) to 1TB+512GB SSD (2 slots) and my laptop RAM from 8GB DDR4 (1 slot) to 16GB DDR4 (2 slots) at an official outlet. Before upgrading, there were 2 partitions on my laptop that used the 1st SSD slot: OS (C:\) and JAF (D:\). After completing the upgrade process, the new SSD has a partition named DATA(E:\).The repairer decided to copy all available files in JAF(D:\), maximum size 335GB, to DATA(E:\), maximum size 931GB, then format JAF(D:\), and give OS(C:\), maximum size 118GB, the remaining formatted storage from JAF(D:\).
