I purchase a newer computer and transferred all of the data, files and programs. Now all of my desktop icons aren't color but blue and white monotone. I found a way to delete the icon cache and restart Windows Explorer. It worked, my icons were back to color. Then there was a popup wanting to start "Windows host process Rundll32. I didn't click Yes, it just ran on its own and all of my icons went back to blue and white. Oddly enough, all of the icons in the task bar are color.
