After Windows Update in January 2021 my monitor will not turn on unless I do a hard shut down of the computer and a restart.

After the Windows update in January 2021 when I turn on the computer:1. My monitor momentarily turns on and this shuts off. Turning this time I have sound.2. I have to do a hard shut down and restart the computer. a. When I do this the monitor will turn on, but now there is no sound. b. When the monitor is not working, I have sound just fine.Steps I have taken:1. Went back to an earlier version of Windows. Then Windows said I had a critical update so I installed it and we are back to the same issue.2. Checked both the sound and monitor drives to make sure they are update to date.3. Ran N
