After Win11 Update 24H2 was installed on my work PC, my SharePoint Designer 2013 crashes

When using SharePoint Designer 2013, I try to open any asset on a on-Prem 2016 SharePoint site such as form templates, CSS files, JS files, etc. at which point Designer shuts down. I do have the latest release of SharePoint Designer 2013 installed. We found an older PC at work without the 24H2 upgrade and Designer 2013 works fine on that PC. I checked Event Viewer logs and don't see anything being logged when the crashes occur.How can I get Designer 2013 working again post 24H2 update??
