After win 11 upgrade error "ene.sys can't be installed" etc etc

This seems to be a regular topic but not being very knowledgeable about the inner workings of my PC I do not understand some (any?) of the previous topics. Against my better judgement I recently upgrade Win 10 Pro to Win 11. Apart from a few "blue screens" everything seemed to settle until MS put out an update which in their text was described as significant. Following that update two things happened: 1) I lost all internet connectivity and Wi-Fi recognition. I could not find any way to resolve this until as a last resort I removed the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth dongles. For no good reason I plugged
