After upgrading from Windows 10 home to Windows 11 home via Microsoft upgrade, when i shut down my pc, the USB's do not shut down,

This didn't happen in windows 10, and as my PC is in my bedroom, this makes it sometimes too bright to sleep as I use my pc for music production & have a lot of additional stuff attached via USB. Why has this only started happening since I upgrade
