after installing windows live, disaster

I no longer can access most apps. I do have access to Outlook and to My

Documents. I can not access "add or delete programs". I can access IE by

clicking on "run as". I can not access Office or any components such as word.

How can I delete Windows Live and restore access to my installed apps.
