Adjust taskbar hover-over bubbles to show only vertical list of file names

I have a full taskbar. I've chosen to combine the taskbar icons when the taskbar is full. When I hover over one of the icons (say Word), I see a horizontal arrangement of (say) three abutted thumbnails, one per Word document. The filenames show above the thumbnails in truncated form.The thumbnails are not useful to me. It's a Word document, after all. What would be far more useful is a vertical list of the Word filenames -- less truncated, since each filename can occupy the full width of space that was previously taken up by the horizontal arrangement of abutted thumbnails.Is there a way
