Adjust preview pane in Windows like in MacOS?

Hello, in Windows how do I adjust the preview pane to show a legible PDF image corresponding to a file name? The Windows Finder screenshot - top, illegible - is shown in comparison to the same on MacOS, which is below, and legible. Thank you in advance.
