Whenever I try to add *.amazonaws.com to the Trusted Sites list, I get the message that it's an invalid wildcard sequence. If I add the site in GPO and do a gpupdate, then I get a message this message:
Windows failed to apply the Internet Explorer Zonemapping settings. Internet Explorer Zonemapping settings might have its own log file. Please click on the "More information link"
It's the same as this issue: Cannot add *.amazonaws.com to Trusted Sites in Internet Explorer 11.
I ran process monitor to see why this is happening and I can't figure it out. Anyone know the reason why I am getting an invalid wildcard sequence even though it is a valid url?
I have only tested this on Windows 10 1703 and 1809.
