Activating Windows Vista

Please help me, I've bought my Computer with
Vista disk, I've tried to update it and it's asking for activation,
I've tried the code that came with the computer and it is saying that the
code isn't valid.
what can i do?
PS: NEED HELP URGENT

When prompted to activate, you should be getting an option to do so via
telephone. You'll need to use that and then wait through the prompts to talk
to a human. Explain your situation and they should get you activated.
