activate windows even tho i already have windows 11 previously installed

After i updated my pc and logged i got the watermark message on the right bottom of my screen that i need to activate windows. this is odd because i have bought my pc about 4 months ago and it already had windows 11 installed. now it says i have windows 11 pro installed which i never installed, when i try to trouble shoot its says i need internet conection even when my internet cable is plugged in. can this be a bug from an update and how can i fix this problem.
