I don't think that this is a Word 2007 problem as I have tried to access the
file with Wordpad and I receive the same error. I would assume that if it
was a Word 2007 problem, I would be able to access using Wordpad.
I also attempted to open the file in Notepad and received the message "You
don't have permission to open this file." Additionally, our network
administrator reviewed my permissions access on the server and confirmed I
have full rights. He also can open the files without problem.
So the problem seems localized to my Vista access of this file.
