I had a bad experience with AOL Onepoint. It is supposed to let me store my passwords with various websites, allow me to open Onepoint, and then click on the site I want and the password will be entered automatically. I was unable to add new sites, and I called AOL. Two technicians tried to help me. When the second could not help me correct the problem, he transferred me to Whiteskyservices.com/support. I have had my computer for less than a week, a Dell XPS 8900. The tech did some typing, told me I had problems, and then tried to sell me service for $100.00. I was also told that the tech was Microsoft certified, a red flag.

I said I was not interested. I hung up and called Dell. The Dell technician had a great deal of difficulty getting remote access. Four trials with different web addresses were attempted. Dell said the Whitesky tech had made changes to my computer which were not for the best. I had to pay Dell for the software work as it is not covered by my warranty. Dell will check back with me to see if problems have been corrected in a couple of days.

I am posting this to inform others to be wary of Whiteskyservices.com. I also would appreciate any information others might have on this company.

Thanks.
