8 keys on top row of letters not working QWER UIOP

I have a Dell Latitude 3500 laptop and 8 of the keys do not work.The top left 4 letters (QWER) & the top right 4 letters (UIOP)In total that's 8 letters not working. I'm the IT support guy here and this problem was before I came here.Apparently the laptop keyboard has been replaced but didn't resolve the issue.The laptop works fine if a USB keyboard is plugged in (But still not the onboard keyboard)Drivers have been replaced (Windows 10) without success.I've even trashed & re-built the PC with Windows 11 and the problem still exists.The laptop is now well out of warranty.I've looked up
