2in1 Laptop is "auto rotating" while in sleep mode and is upside down every time I open it

This just started about 10 days ago. I've had this Dell Inspiron 2in1 laptop for over a year and use it in both laptop and tablet mode on a daily basis and have never had an issue previously, it was always upright when turned on, properly rotated entering tablet mode and returned to normal rotation exiting tablet mode. About 10 days ago it started being upside down EVERY single time I first open the laptop and turn it on.
