24H2 ... what a disaster!

I have (had would be more appropriate!) an Asus Vivobook supplied on a Win 11 Pro platform from new. I added an external monitor to the setup for home use. I am always reluctant to install updates because of the risk that a working perfectly computer is transformed by the update into a completely useless collection of metal and plastic. My computer is on 24/7 because it runs streaming apps receiving, processing and actioning data (Forex markets) but it sometimes slows down over time and I find a Restart clears the pipes and it runs as normal again.
