Hi All-
I'm hoping somewhere can help me out here.
I've tried numerous times to update a Windows 7 computer to no avail. I keep getting a "windows update 80073712 error code". After it failed a few times, I downloaded and ran the Windows Update Troubleshooter that did not work, still had an error. Tried running command prompt as administrator to rename software distribution backup folders (as it instructed in this article) and it said access denied. I'm sure the fix is rather simple, I'm just missing it. If anyone has any insight, it would be appreciated.
It should also be noted that a few of my other machines that are Windows 7 have run this update without an issue.
Thanks!
