2 Monitors Are Stuck On Mirror Mode

Hi There,I recently bought 2 Anker monitors and an AMD Mini Pc, The mini PC only has 1 HDMI 1, I bought an HDMI splitter for this. When turned on both screens do show up but they mirror eachother. Instead of allowing it to be one big screen "like drag from screen to screen" the same thing is displayed on both monitors. I tried to go to settings, then display and detect but it does not detect multiple monitors. Anything I can do to fix? The AMD pc has a USB port, should I buy an HDMI to USB splitter instead? Thanks
