100% disk error

I just spent 30 minutes watching my computer and its 100% disk error. Multiply that by the hundreds if not thousands of times it has already happened, and imagine my frustration.Still can't figure out why a multi-zillion dollar corporation doesn't want to fix its defective product.Any ideas?
