0xc0000135 error when starting one specific application

Since the latest Windows 11 updates, I now find that when I run one specific app on my Windows tablet, I get the above error code and the message "The application failed to initialize properly". I click OK and the app closes. I have tried other apps and I do not get this error. I have uninstalled the app in question and reinstalled it. Once I run it, I get the same error message. Any ideas as to what I could try next?
