0x800f0835 error triggered by KB5050081 leads to infuriatingly fix

This is the first time I ever had the 0x800f0835 error but today when the KB5050081 preview was introduced, it got stuck on 75% leading me to have to wait 3 hours to see if it would fix on its own and it didn't so i shut down every windows update process and retried only to get the error, however a security intelligence update that randomly happened worked.Startled by this, I restarted my entire computer and was briefly greeted with the getting windows ready screen for a a minute before restarting normally, eventually I retried updating again and it fixed itselfwhat the hell just happened? why
