0x800704cf when logging in to my account on windows

I have done so many things to fix this but nothing I have tried has worked.


This error comes up when I try to sign in to my microsoft account on windows, windows store and the xbox app. It also says "It doesn't look like you are connected to the internet. Please check your connection and try again.


My windows is up to date. My drivers are up to date. I am plugged into ethernet through a switch.


I am so fed up with this problem after trying to fix it for hours at this point.
